Your Stanford Cardinal took the show the road again this week, this time ending up in Pullman,Wa. The game started with a hard run by Wilkerson which seemed to show what type of day it would be. "After that 1st carry it felt like we wanted it more , they were slow to get off blocks and we had a little more pep in our step....if you know what I mean."The scoring opened up with Montgomery making a circus catch and literally sitting on the db's shoulder as he caught the ball and stumbled into the endzone. The Cardinal scored another td at quarters end...finding a breakdown in the defense Gafney caught the ball made the corner miss ran over and popped out of the tackle on his way 2 the endzone.

14-0 after 1 the Cougars d seemed to struggle blocking the relentless Cardinal D. Stanford was able to add a fg, safety and td to go into half with a 26 -0 lead. 3rd quarter the Wazzu squad found a little life scoring 1st to cut the lead to 19. Although they managed another score the game got completely out of hand in the 2nd half and Stanford was able to win by the fonal score 50-13.
